Project Status

At present, the research projects mainly carried out by the research team are energy efficiency characteristics of rail transit system and research on energy-saving technologies and devices for train operation. This project is one of the sub-tasks of the State Key Research Project of the 13th Five-Year Plan. The main research objectives are: to design stationary regeneration energy using energy storage devices and control strategies according to different line and vehicle conditions, to absorb train regenerative braking energy and avoid regenerative failure. Improve the utilization of renewable energy, so that the city rail train can achieve energy-saving operation.

Main research contents:

(1) Topology research of regenerative energy using regenerative energy of regenerative braking energy for urban rail transit vehicles using energy storage device (2) Simulation platform for urban rail transit power supply system (3) Control strategy of well-designed hybrid energy storage device , To achieve efficient use of energy (4) to determine the configuration of energy storage device capacity to maximize the benefits of energy storage devices, and (5) to design and produce a prototype of energy storage device using renewable energy. At present, the project has completed the construction of a 90kW low-power battery capacitor hybrid energy storage system platform: Next, the design and development of a 1 MW high-power battery capacitor hybrid energy storage system prototype will be carried out.
